Cool Watercolor Reworked Denim Jacket

Every season at Maison Markosian, we expand our knowledge of hand-painted dye techniques by exploring unconventional dye methods. For Fall/Winter 2025, we created our Watercolor effect by thickening our dyes with algae powder to a paint-like consistency, and brushed four custom-developed dyes onto this jacket by hand. The resulting effect has the visual impact of a watercolor painting, with the familiar hand-feel of cotton denim.

These 100% cotton jackets are sewn in various countries and hand-dyed in the USA. Please note, there is a high degree of variability inherent in this dyeing process. Please allow for differences in the brushstroke graphics between the jacket pictured here and the jacket you receive. We recommend washing these garments in cool water with like colors and tumble drying them on low heat. 

We make these jackets using reworked vintage Levi's denim trucker jackets, so sizing may vary depending on the year in which it was produced. Please consult the measurements below for the jackets we currently have in stock:

Jacket 003 (marked as Women's Small): 18" from armpit to armpit, 18.5" from shoulder to hem, 23.75" from shoulder to wrist.

Jacket 004 (marked as Men's Medium): 22" from armpit to armpit. 22.5" from shoulder to hem, 25" from shoulder to wrist.
