Welcome to maison markosian
Maison Markosian was founded in 2021 by Kyra Markosian with the intention of making creative clothing for creative people.
Through our use of experimental dye techniques and thoughtful construction methods, we make garments that are as singular as their wearers. We love when clothing reveals something of its process in the final product.
Artisan dye techniques
Our dye colors are custom-mixed in-house and hand-painted onto our garments in our New Jersey atelier, celebrating the maker's hand and creating graphics that are impossible to replicate by machine.
We primarily work with procion fiber reactive dyes on cotton fibers. Occasionally we also incorporate solar reactive dyes, cyanotype dyes, natural dyes, digital fabric printing, screen printing, and paint.
Frequently Asked Questions
When will my order ship?
Once we receive an order, your package will typically ship within five business days. However, many of our garments are made-to-order and require extra time to prepare before they can be shipped. Please consult the individual product description for specific lead times. We endeavor to accommodate all rush orders, so please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need your order in a hurry!
Can I return or exchange an item?
We accept returns and exchanges on most items if they are unworn, unwashed, or in otherwise perfect condition. Some made-to-order items are not eligible for returns or exchanges-- those items will have that information clearly stated in the product description. Returns must be initiated within seven days of receipt. Please contact us at maisonmarkosian@gmail.com to begin a return or exchange. Once you have initiated the return or exchange, we must receive an ACTIVE tracking number (i.e, the item is in the hands of the mail carrier or delivery service) within seven days or we will not be able to accept the returned item. Once we receive the item, we will refund its cost to the original form of payment.
Sale items are all final sale and are not eligible for returns or exchanges. All sales made at pop-ups or markets are also final sale and are not eligible for returns or exchanges.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes! We ship to North America, the UK, most European countries, most Asian countries, and Oceania. If you'd like us to ship your order to a country we don't currently have listed at checkout, please contact us at maisonmarkosian@gmail.com and we will be happy to provide a shipping quote. Please note that we do not take responsibility for any import duties or taxes.
Will you restock an out-of-stock item?
Sometimes yes and sometimes no! The best way to let us know that you're interested in an out-of-stock item is to sign up for the product waitlist or to contact us at maisonmarkosian@gmail.com.
