50/50 Henley

These shirts are the unique product of a studio experiment. We usually only use dyes that are effective on cotton fibers, but we were curious about dyeing a 50% cotton, 50% polyester blend. We began by dyeing these shirts in a brown polyester dye, and after washing them, we re-dyed them in a dusky purple dye for cotton. The result is a subtle heathered effect unlike anything we've seen before (and for some reason we haven't been able to untangle, the top stitching on some of the shirts turned out brown while others turned out purple- who knows why!). While we're happy with the way these shirts turned out, this process proved to be too time-intensive to put them into production. The four shirts we made as samples are the only four we'll ever make!

These shirts are sewn and hand-dyed in the USA. We recommend washing these garments in cool water with like colors and tumble drying them on low heat. Please do not bleach or dry clean these shirts.
