365 Sweatshirts

On August 20th, 2024, we installed twelve black sweatshirts on a garment rack in our treehouse. The sweatshirts ranged in size from XS to 2XL and were made from 400 gsm 80% organic cotton and 20% recycled polyester.

The sweatshirts remained in the treehouse for 365 days, exposed to sun, wind, snow, rain, and a bevy of other natural variables. On August 20th, 2025, we brought them down from the treehouse, gave them a thorough washing, and made them available to purchase.

We began this experiment without any set expectation of the outcome, just a hunch that a well-made garment is more resilient than most people would suspect. This project is a rejection of fast fashion and is a reminder that our garments are more durable than the trends that surround them.

The 365 Sweatshirts are sold out and are impossible to replicate, but this project was so compelling that we've decided to continue it with a new iteration. The next chapter will launch in the Autumn of 2026.
